DC PRECISION, February 17, 2001 to October 8, 2008...RIP Big Guy.  Thank you for the ride, I will never forget you!
Our world champion stallion started it all.  His babies were spectacular!!!!  He threw tiny dish heads, short, strong backs, posty hocks, drippy behinds and size! 

In his short breeding career, his get won over $100,000 in futurity money and earned 7 World Championships, 4 World Reserve Championships, 9 top five and 13 top ten placings at the APHA World Shows!



 

 

JAMAICAN HOTTIE is a beautiful dark bay stallion out of Sir Cool Skip.  Hottie stands 16-1H and is HYPP/NN.  We also found out that this great boy is EE, homozygous for the black gene.  He will not throw a red foal, even if bred to a sorrel mare!  I am really pleased with his babies!  Hottie, like DC, is throwing tiny dish heads, short, strong backs, posty hocks, and overall great conformation!



 

 

EXCEPTIONAL LOOK is a double registered APHA and AQHA. He is OLW Neg.  His pedigree is outstanding, from his sire, World Champion Kidlook x Kid Clu to his dam, CJ Tardees Angel x Azzari.  Carri Jones raised CJ Tardees Angel and purchased Azzari from Sandy Ellis!  Kidd's dam is a true crop out, supporting all quarter horses on his papers. 






 

SPARKED BY PRECISION  is the legacy DC left to us. We are truly blessed to have this colt and hope he will be the great sire his father was.

 




 

DC Legacy will be added to our breeding program in 2012.  He is a son of DC  Precision and a great Sierra Te mare.  DC is HYPP/NN with all that muscle.  He looks so much like his daddy, DC Precision...I am so excited to watch him grow and mature!

Let Us Introduce Ourselves!

Double L Acres specializes in breeding and selling world class halter horses.  We are successful paint horse and quarter horse breeders in Decatur, Illinois. The backbone of our operation was our two-time
AQHA, APHA World Champion halter stallion and
World Champion Sire, DC Precision. 
 

Our two stallions, Sparked By Precision and DC Legacy will follow in their father's foot steps!
 

To enhance our breeding program, we have  AQHA Jamaican Hottie.   A son of Sir Cool Skip.  Hottie is HYPP/NN and homozygous for the black gene!

While at the 2008 APHA Fall Classic World Show, we purchased a 2007 Sorrel Overo Stallion, Exceptional Look.  "Kidd" is out of World Champion Quarter Horse Kidlook x Kid Clu.  His dam is out of the great quarter Horse, Azzari. Raised by Carri Jones.  With Kidd's look, he should be an exceptional sire!


In 2009, we purchased DC Legacy.  A phenomenal HYPP/NN colt!  His dam is out of a great Sierra Te mare. He is one awesome guy!  Double registered APHA, AQHA.

 
At Double L Acres, we are dedicated to breeding top-quality APHA registered Paint Horses and AQHA Quarter Horses.  Our band of broodmares are the finest quality horses around.  We have broodmares with excellent pedigrees including:  Sockett, Sonny Dee Bar, Sir Cool Skip, Ima Cool Skip, Barlink Macho Man, Impressive, Obvious Conclusion, Conclusive, Kid Clu, GQ Eclipse, RD Rockafella, Kidlook, Azzari, At Long Last, Wincecredible, Kid Coolsified, Kid Clusified and Mr Yella Fella!
