Double L Acres specializes in breeding and selling world class halter horses.  We are successful paint horse and quarter horse breeders in Decatur, Illinois. The backbone of our operation is our two-time AQHA, APHA World Champion halter stallion and World Champion Sire, DC Precision.  To enhance our breeding program, we have  AQHA Jamaican Hottie.  The son of Sir Cool Skip.  Hottie is HYPP/NN and homozygous for the black gene!

DC PRECISION is throwing tiny dish heads, short, strong backs, posty hocks, drippy behinds and size!  Two of DC's first babies from his foal crop placed at the 2005 APHA World Show--Amateur World Champion, Open Reserve Champion, and a Top Ten Placing (7th) AND...4th at the World Wide Congress! (Not to mention, all the winnings in the Midwest Futurities!)  His son, DL Star Precision brought home a second buckle at the 2006 APHA World Show, winning a Reserve World Championship! At the 2007 APHA World Show, his get brought home 2 World Championships, 1 Reserve Championship, 2 top five and 2 top ten placings!  Now to make things better, DC Precision is double registered, APHA, AQHA!!!!

JAMAICAN HOTTIE is the newest member of our herd.  A beautiful dark bay stallion out of Sir Cool Skip.  Hottie stands a firm 16H and is HYPP/NN.  We also found out that this great boy is EE, homozygous for the black gene.  He will not throw a red foal,even if bred to a sorrel mare!  I am really pleased with his babies!  Hottie, like DC, is throwing tiny dish heads, short, strong backs, posoty hocks, and great muscling.
